his  words  like  whipped  cream  on  top  of  waffles  ⸻  to  say  barbie  was  content  with  joker  would  be  an  understatement.  that  bat  man  clearly  didn't  know  joker  like  she  did.  and  what  a  pity  that  is!  all  worries  fade  from  her  visage  when  their  hands  intertwined,  pearly  whites  bared  at  him.  ❝  i  know,  i  know,  ❞  a  pause  commences,  in  which  she  shook  her  head  to  sway  the  few  strands  that  blocked  her  vision,  ❝  but  for  a  moment  there,  i  totally  doubted  my  thoughts.  it  was  like  when  we  first  met!  ❞  she  mused,  losing  track  of  reality  as  her  mind  was  too  preoccupied  to  remember  their  first  encounter.  barbie  was  hopeless  and  full  of  flaws  she  never  even  knew  existed.  that  was,  until  she  crossed  paths  with  the  joker.  someone  who  acknowledged  her  as  a  doll  that  was  perfectly  perfect,  at  least  that's  what  barbie  thinks  anyway.

another  shook  of  the  head  as  she  returns  to  the  real  world,  cerulean  optics  carefully  watching  his  other  hand.  when  he  revealed  the  new  toy,  her  entire  demeanor  lit  up.  a  bright,  hollywood  -  worthy  smile  spread  upon  her  visage,  her  gaze  growing  wider.  ❝  for  me?  ❞  a  squeal  of  excitement  passing  glossed  lips  as  she  reached  for  the  gun.  and  just  like  a  kid  would,  she  snatched  it  from  his  grip  in  an  instant,  bringing  it  closer  to  her  face.  albeit  still  learning  the  ways  of  the  real  world,  barbie  couldn't  help  the  curiosity  that  bloomed  within  her  living  body  (although  that  remains  unknown,  it's  best  dolls  remain  unaware  of  such  thing)  ⸻  she  inspected  it  closely,  first  the  left  side,  then  the  right  side  and  ultimately,  she  ended  up  pointing  the  barrel  into  the  only  eye  she  had  open.

barbie has arrived to your inbox, chrissy. and guess what? she brought a  pink  care  bear  to  which  she  put  a  santa  hat  on  before  badly  wrapping  it  up.  it  was  pretty  obvious  what  was  behind  the  red  paper  wrap,  but  barbie  hopes  the  gesture  overthrows  the  awful  wrapping  job  she's  done. ❛❛ this belongs to you. i thought i should give it to you before we go to the christmas market. i just couldn't wait until christmas. i hope you like it? ❜❜

---☁︎｡⋆｡ Chrissy's eyes absolutely lit up at the present. "You didn't have to get me anything," she nearly whispered out, taking the package from Barbie's hands. But the thought and excitement the woman showed made Chrissy excited to open it. The teen had a small hunch on what it could have been, but the excitement didn't lessen even as the younger carefully unwrapped the paper. (Chrissy had always been the type to make sure wrapping paper was taken off without any tears or rips. As pristine as she could keep it.) "Love-A-Lot Bear," she answered with a bit of aw in her voice, adjusting the little bear's hat. "Oh, I love it a lot," a giggle was evident in her voice at the slight pun. "Thank you. This really just started everything off in such a good spirit!"

hawkins  was  already  covered  with  a  white  blanket  in  mid  december,  which  did  coincide  with  barbie's  christmas  spirit  ever  growing  within.  no  matter  what  others  said,  christmas  was  right  there  in  front  of  them  and  all  around  them.  the  crystalling  snow,  the  hanged  up  lights  'round  town,  the  christmas  market  with  the  gigantic  ferris  wheel  to  look  down  at  their  little  town  lit  up  with  christmas  joy.  everything  hinted  at  christmas  already  being  there.  cerulean  optics  were  gazing  at  one  of  the  decorated  houses,  with  a  santa  claus  decoration  on  the  rooftop,  among  with  his  reindeers.  barbie  was  trying  to  find  rudolph  —  the  process  similar  to  finding  waldo.  it  wasn't  until  a  snow  ball  was  thrown  her  way,  bits  of  snowflakes  adorned  her  dyed  blonde  hair.  ❛❛  hey!  ❜❜  she  claims,  turning  her  head  to  the  side,  to  glance  at  lizzy.  ❛❛  this  calls  for  war.  ❜❜  she  continued  in  the  uttermost  serious  tone  her  voice  range  can  go.  it  didn't  take  barbie  more  than  a  couple  seconds  to  lean  down  and  grab  some  snow  in  her  bare  hands,  making  a  perfect  snowball.  a  flicker  of  youth's  mischief  in  her  glance  as  she  swung  her  arm  backwards,  ❛❛  last  chance,  liz.  d'you  surrender?  ❜❜

barbie  did  not  have  much  going  on  for  the  holidays  —  if  you  disconsider  the  giant  blowout  party  with  all  her  friends,  acquaintances  and  other  people  she's  worked  with  over  the  years  on  movie  sets  and  the  dj  she  hired  to  mix  christmas  tunes.  it  was  just  another  typical  night  preceding  a  holiday  from  her  perspective.  eartha  kitt's  santa  baby  was  resonating  throughout  her  residence  as  she  gracefully  transversed  across  the  tiny  cliques,  trying  to  make  brief  conversations  with  each  of  them,  until  her  cerulean  optics  laid  upon  sheldon.  everlasting  beam  that  graced  her  features  spread  even  wider  whilst  high  heels  clicked  underneath  the  porcelain  floor  as  she  made  her  way  towards  @sheldoney.  ❛❛  there  you  are!  what  do  you  think  of  this  party?  ❜❜  she  queried  over  the  loud  music,  leaning  ever  so  slightly  towards  him.  ❛❛  oh.  oh!  ❜❜  cue  a  sudden  exclaim  as  her  gaze  drifted  upward  towards  one  of  the  many  mistletoes  she  put  around  the  house  to  surprise  the  guests.  as  it  turns  out,  it  also  came  as  a  surprise  for  barbie  herself.  index  finger  points  skyward,  ❛❛  d'ya  know  what  they  say  about  standing  under  the  mistletoe,  right?  may  i?  ❜❜  a  light  nod  of  the  head  follows,  as  she  stares  at  him,  waiting  for  an  answer.  barbie,  mindful  of  mutual  respect,  refrained  from  seizing  the  moment  outright,  opting  instead  to  observe  tradition  with  a  sense  of  decorum.

please forgive me for being vain, but there’s so much more that i want to say. this PIT that’s been growing inside is leading me astray. it may not last && as time flows past, i may just REGRET this TRADE, but i offer you my resignation and i offer to them this tirade.

barbie  always  tries  her  best,  however  there  are  times  when  it’s  not  good  enough.  unfortunately  when  one  strives  for  perfectionism,  one  does  not  grasp  the  reality.  and  so  it  was  for  barbie,  when  she  had  promised  midge  she’d  be  there  to  help  her.  what  she  didn’t  take  into  account  was  that  acting  until  past  midnight  would  have  consequences.  she  hadn’t  heard  the  first  alarm  that  went  off.  neither  the  second  nor  the  third.  and  when  she  rolled  out  of  bed,  time  was  against  her.  she  didn’t  know  how  she  managed  to  get  out  of  the  hotel  she  was  staying  at,  nor  the  speed  she  was  driving  her  car.  when  she  finally  reached  midge’s  house,  she  was  already  five  hours  late.  legend  has  it,  she’s  still  cussing  out  the  traffic  inside  her  head.    ❝  hi,  i’m  sorry  i’m  late…  ❞    she  barely  uttered  as  soon  as  her  car  door  was  slammed  shut.  she  approaches  midge  with  her  chest  seemingly  closing  in,  an  anxiety  symptom  she  couldn’t  quite  grasp,  but  still  she  felt.  and  oh,  how  hard  it  clenched  on  her  soul.  but  it  was  midge’s  words  that  caused  the  most  pain.  lips  parted  open  as  she  stuttered,  not  able  to  verbalize  a  response.  there  were  plenty  of  thoughts  inside  her  head  going  at  the  speed  of  light,  but  none  that  could  emerge  in  a  coherent  manner.  cerulean  hues  couldn’t  even  look  at  her  friend  anymore,  instead  they  slowly  drifted  downward.  she  was  ashamed  of  looking  midge  directly  in  the  eye.  why  did  she  promise  something  unachievable?  why  didn’t  she  hear  the  first  alarms?  why  did  the  universe  put  her  in  the  middle  of  traffic?  the  only  one  at  blame  was  barbie  herself.  she  put  an  expectation  for  her  best  friend  only  to  let  her  down.  big  time.  with  quivering  lips,  she  managed  to  further  utter,    ❝  i  know  it’s  all  my  fault.  i’m  sorry.  i  didn’t  mean  to  keep  you  waiting  this  long.  i  know  i  promised  you  something.  ❞    the  weight  on  her  chest  traveled  to  her  throat  as  she  found  herself  unable  to  voice  anything  else.  she  didn’t  want  to  disappoint  anyone,  but  especially  her  best  friend.  midge  was  everything  barbie  ever  needed  back  in  the  days  ;  and  there  she  was,  disappointing  midge.

what  a  bliss,  to  be  beside  someone  who  sees  beyond  the  external  appearance.  he  sees  right  through  her.  or  perhaps,  she  has  lowered  her  guard  on  purpose.  letting  someone  in  was  always  the  hardest  part.  but  barbie  learned  that  she  could  trust  some  individuals.  it’s  true  what  they  say  —  trust  is  either  earned  or  given  freely.  only  that  she  did  both,  simultaneously.  ceruleans  stare  at  her  own  reflection  in  the  mirror  as  she  made  the  last  touch  ups.  perfection  was  achieved  through  hard  labor,  that  much  she  knew.  seemingly  in  a  trance,  trying  to  pick  out  any  flaw  that  wasn’t  apparent  in  the  first  place.  if  one’s  broken  on  the  inside,  the  least  they  can  do  is  look  perfect  on  the  outside.  it  was  his  voice  that  brought  her  back  to  reality,  shattering  the  illusion  she’s  drawn  herself.  cue  a  twirl,  breaking  all  contact  with  that  damned  mirror,  now  gazing  at  teddy.  with  swift  motions  towards  him,  she  found  herself  standing  right  in  front  of  teddy.  head  slanted  to  the  side  as  she  sways  in  her  place,  all  attention  focused  on  him.  ❝  ask  me  …  what  exactly?  ❞    honey  dripped  tone  as  she  queried,  admittedly  bewildered  by  what  he  meant.  a  soft  chuckle  passed  pink  lips  as  she  sketched  a  smile.  barbie  was  on  edge,  curiosity  taking  toll  over  her  frame.  with  each  second  growing  more  and  more  impatient.    ❝  c’mon  it’s  not  nice  to  keep  a  gal  waiting!  ❞    she  uttered,  in  a  feeble  attempt  at  calming  her  own  nerves.  something  about  the  unknown  terrified  the  living  hell  out  of  her,  though  she’d  never  admit  it  out  loud.

what  are  your  character's  most  prominent  physical  feature ; i refuse to write just 1 so here u go

eyes    :    she  has  cerulean  eyes,  a  mesmerizing  shade  of  blue  reminiscent  of  a  tranquil  ocean  on  a  cloudless  day.  they  possess  a  clarity  that  hints  at  untold  secrets  kept  only  by  the  stationary  waters  of  a  pristine  lake.  flecks  of  azure  and  turquoise  dancing  within  the  irises,  like  ripples  of  light  playing  upon  the  water’s  surface.  but  it’s  not  the  color  that  makes  them  remarkable;  it’s  the  soulful  depth  within  them.  they  hold  stories  untold,  emotions  unspoken  and  dreams  yet  to  be  realized.  when  those  ceruleans  eyes  meet  another’s,  it’s  as  if  they  could  pierce  through  the  facade  and  lay  bare  the  very  essence  of  one’s  being,  an  invitation  to  share  the  profound  beauty  and  the  utter  ugliness  in  the  world.

ever  heard  of  the  saying  eyes  are  the  windows  to  one’s  soul?  that’s  right,  i’m  using  that  cliche  to  describe  barbie.  why  you  may  ask.  well,  you  see,  since  barbie’s  job  is  acting,  she  focuses  on  selling  a  message  with  her  eyes.  whether  or  not  she’s  sad  or  happy  or  thrilled  or  in  agony,  you  name  the  emotion.  it’s  important  to  note  that,  since  her  eyes  are  in  the  brighter  spectrum,  pupil  dilation  becomes  more  prominent,  which  can  easily  showcase  how  she  truly  feels.  at  least  for  the  stronger  emotions,  in  which  pupils  dilate.  to  be  more  cliche,  think  about  falling  in  love  or  being  angry.  you  can  spot  the  truth  in  the  pupil  dilation.

hair    :    she  has  blonde  hair,  its  hue  reminiscent  of  gilded  silk.  from  the  root  to  the  tips,  strands  of  sun-kissed  blonde  wove  the  memories  of  summer  sunrises,  where  golden  tendrils  glistened  like  morning  dew,  with  hints  of  platinum  that  reflect  in  the  sunlight.  the  texture  smooth  as  the  finest  silk,  yet  soft  as  a  whispered  promise.  each  strand  cascading  down  her  shoulders  with  a  luxurious  embrace.  she  wears  it  in  loose  waves  that  tumbles  down  with  effortless  grace  or  in  a  half  up  half  down  manner,  adorned  with  a  silk  ribbon  that  weaves  its  way  through  her  hair.  but  do  not  be  fooled  by  this  appearance,  for  it  is  artificial.  her  natural  hair,  a  light  chestnut  brown  in  stark  contrast  to  the  golden  silk  she  currently  presents  the  world.  

to  be  honest  with  you,  my  main  source  for  the  dyed  hair  and  why  it  is  important  to  me  comes  from  batman  the  animated  series.  to  quote  harley  quinn,  you  thought  i  was  just  another  bubble-headed  blond  bimbo!  well,  the  joke's  on  you,  ‘cause  i’m  not  even  a  real  blonde.  that,  to  me,  screams  barbie.  also,  marilyn  monroe  is  a  big  inspiration  to  both  barbie  and  i!  hence  why  she’d  want  to  look  like  marilyn  by  dying  her  hair  blonde,  basically  walking  into  marilyn  steps  as  she  too  dyed  her  hair,  only  that  from  red  to  blonde.

she's  on  the  verge.  one  of  these  days,  someone  had  to  believe  in  the  barbies  too.  while  it  was  true  that  they  all  specialize  in  certain  fields  &  careers,  barbies  were  capable  enough  to  do  anything  on  their  own.  how  would  the  others  dolls  feel  if  they  were  treated  the  same  way?  oh,  wait…  note  to  the  reader,  this  barbie  doesn't  acknowledge  all  that's  happening  ;  and  this  is  written  from  her  own  perspective.  does  that  mean  she's  conceited?  maybe.  she  puffs,  counting  to  five  in  her  mind  before  turning  around  to  face  allan.  there's  a  bright  smile  put  on  display  as  hand  rose  in  the  air,  motioning  towards  her  head  as  if  she  remembered.    "  of  course,  how  could  i  forget!  "    cue  a  melodic  chuckle  passing  her  glosses  lips.  she's  so  done  with  being  the  damsel  in  distress.

"  how  can  actress  barbie  do  anything  else  beside  acting?  she  doesn't  know  anything  else.  that  was  silly  of  me  to  even  think  of.  "    cue  to  acknowledgement  as  she  blinks  in  surprise  to  her  own  words  that  she  uttered.  shoulders  begin  to  fall  as  she  stares  point  blank  into  the  abyss.  allan  had  nothing  to  do  with  the  impulsivity  that's  brewing  within.  she  shouldn't  have  snapped  like  that.    "  i-i'm  so  sorry,  allan.  i  don't  know  what's  gotten  into  me.  of  course  i'd  like  your  help  but  i  also  think  you're  allowed  to  rest.  i  don't  need  saving  all  the  time.  "    she's  slowly  coming  to  her  senses…  or  is  she?  it  isn't  natural  for  a  barbie  to  showcase  any  sentiment,  let  alone  such  a  strong  reaction  to  something  benevolent.  she  really  is  a  broken  doll  now,  isn't  she?  and  all  the  scripts  she's  read  probably  didn't  help  —  she  assimilated  not  only  the  words,  but  the  emotions  she  had  to  portray  in  every  scene.  it  was  only  a  matter  of  time  until  her  acting  career  would  catch  up  on  her  and  turn  her  life  upside  down.
