Wow...
chapter 4
The latest 11.0 update means that Google Analytics is a thing on the switch and turned on. What that means is that Nintendo has a deal with Google to share with them your data for advertisement purposes.
To turn it off
go to the eShop
go to your profile where your funds and account info is
go down to the bottom of the page
there you will see “Google Analytics Preferences”
select the Change
select “Don’t Share”
Please spread the word. Really shitty of Nintendo to just quietly start allowing Google to spy on users for advertising.
I tried to make this, but I couldn't finish it because I didn't have enough time...😢

I just want to see how many of there are because there are a lot of us.

Inspired by Sky-Squido's LU fic "Time's Travels - While You Still Can" (CW: Main character death and associated grieving)
Cute little comic idea that I have for ww tetra/zelda and Ganondorf where its that one scene where Ganondorf is sitting next to her while Zelda’s in bed and she just asks “Do you think in some other lifetime we would’ve been friends?” And then Ganondorf pauses for a brief moment imagining all the scenarios of both him and Tetra being pirates and thieves and just simply answers “no” as he tucks Zelda in to bed.

Some Majora's Mask comics that I started forever ago and never finished. I really like them though so I will finish them at some point. I still need to sketch the last one and then figure out how I want to color them.
If tumblr is getting rid of reblog chains and other tumblr specific stuff then how will people make funny conversational posts that get reposted to Twitter and get hundreds of thousands of likes?
Staff, you do realize that the weird uniqueness of tumblr is what draws outsiders to it in the first place, right? When I came here from Twitter a couple of months ago do you know how long it took me to get adjusted? One day. One day was all it took to figure out tags and reblog chains and whatever and appreciate it more than all of the other sites I use.
Nobody wants tumblr to be Twitter. Not even people who have literally only ever used Twitter.
At first Netflix said, come write for us. We’ll save your cancelled shows and write about whatever niche story you want. Our algorithm says people will watch it!
Then a few years later they said, regardless of our promises or contract obligations we are cancelling shows after two seasons without telling anyone. Turns out no matter how loved a show is, we get less subscriptions after the second season.
How many subscriptions did we bring you? Netflix won’t say.
So writers started writing two season shows. Just give us two seasons, Netflix. Like you promised.
Then Netflix said, oops sorry! Turns out your show didn’t premiere at #1 and the views in the first day weren’t what we wanted so we’re cancelling your second season.
What were the numbers? How many people watched our show? Netflix doesn’t say.
Then, they did something extra special. They started taking shows and splitting their first season into two halves. Inside Job was not two seasons. It was one season split in half.
Oops! Sorry! The second half of your first season didn’t do as well as the first half, so now your show is cancelled!
Why? How many people? How much money? These companies are making cash hand over fist and they refuse to tell people the truth: people loved your show. Loved it. But some corpo exec wanted an infinite money making machine. Do you know how long shows are in production for before you watch them? Years. Like, 5+, even 10+ years. And Netflix gives it less than a week before they decide whether you’re getting cancelled.

Hi ? This is too tall for my instagram
this might be weird to ask, but how do I critically look at another person's writing and implement what I like in their writing in my own writing? I've been having trouble improving in my writing, and frankly Im not sure how to go about doing that, even. It's easy to see what I like about another person's writing, but hard to pinpoint exactly why...
THIS IS NOT WEIRD TO ASK. It is, in fact, the most important question EVER.
Re-read. If you get halfway into a chapter and think, Wow this chapter is super creepy–I wonder how they did that. Or get to the end of a book and think, I feel the poignancy of the fragility of human life in an inherently volatile economic system–I wonder how the writer made me feel that way… Go back and re-read that shit.
Read slowly. When you read like a reader, you read pretty fast. When you go in for your second, or third, or fourth re-read of a passage, chapter, or book that you want to know more about, read it slowly. Really. Slowly.
Read for technique, not content. Readers read for content (”In this paragraph, Damien gave Harold a classified envelope.”). Writers read for technique. (”In this paragraph, the writer made me feel curious about the contents of the envelope by giving sensory details about its appearance and weight.”)
Ask the right questions. They usually start with HOW: How did the writer make me feel? How did they accomplish that?
Read small. Did a chapter make you feel sad? Find out WHERE EXACTLY. What paragraph, sentence, or WORD did it for you? Was it a physical detail? A line of dialogue? A well-placed piece of punctuation? Stories are made of words and sentences. Narrow it down.
Practice. Reading like a writer is a skill that takes time to develop. Over time, you’ll get better at it!
How about y’all? Anything to add to this list? I made it off the top of my head so I’m sure I’m forgetting something. What have been your experiences with learning to read like a writer?
Hope this helps!

Oof, that’s it, that’s all I got in my storyboards. I’m still confused by how this stumbled its way so craftily from “let’s maybe key animate one shot” to “okay fine all shots but no inbetweens” to “not gonna stop till the whole dang thing moves”
AGDQ 2023 - TLoZ: A Link to the past
“Revenge on the bully.”
These are the scenes that came to my mind when Hyrule first met Legend. I assume Legend doesn’t know yet that he has a successor or that Ganon won’t revive after he kills Ganon a few times. And Hyrule idolized Legend as a hero before him
How would you feel if you met someone from the future who MAY know your history?
And how would you feel if you met the -legendary- person who became your idol for the first time?
sorry if my English/tenses are wrong.
I promise that the ending always stays the same :(
Why is he so well drawn… like this isn’t an edit… someone drew that face…
