A very quick and rough guide on how i watermark my art. Additional points:

- Watermarks does not prevent art theft or reposters. The point of a watermark or a signature is to provide info on who made the artwork. Majority of reposters dont go extra lengths of removing watermarks, art thiefs on the other hand are more prone to do so.

- a watermark will stay on even if the image is screenshotted or reuploaded in ways that removes the files metadata. A watermark will outlive websites and links and qr codes. A watermark will last even if the image is printed on to paper. A watermark/signature is a very reliable form of information.

- A watermark also serve as evidence if you would ever have to prove you are the creator of a piece.

- Never, and i cannot stress this enough, NEVER upload the original high resolution of your art online. Not on discord. Not in DMs. Not on any fun silly website that can “animate your drawings” etc. The higher the resolution is, the easier it will be for ppl to remove your watermarks. High res images are also more attractive to ai scrapers.

- you should watermark doodles and sketches as well. Because it is common that silly doodles or loose sketches can get more attention online, so mark those as well.

- if you are a digital artist you should be able to know how to create a brush with your signature on it. You dont need an extra program or app to do this. If you can make your own custom brush shapes you can make your own signature. If not, look up a tutorial.

i have like ~27 clips in total that i could have used (and, if i remember correctly, only for the current events… i had ideas for stuff that was revealed for queen of thorns and queen of blossoms/flowers but i forgot to get clips). probably going to make more parts when i have time, haha……

incase you’re just seeing this, My mom is a plant lovers. It’s been her, her cat, and her plants since we lost my dad as a kid. Unfortunately, Few years ago cancer came in between her and her plants. Just few months ago she had a successful surgery to remove the cervical cancer. We thought we were done.

With deep sadness, I must share that despite the successful removal of her cervix, my mom began experiencing severe internal pains during her recovery. After several check-ups and extensive kidney tests, it was confirmed that her kidneys have been affected by the cancer in a process known as metastasis. We now find ourselves facing a new and daunting challenge.

The treatment plan for metastatic cancer is complex and depends on various factors, including the type of primary cancer, the locations and number of metastatic sites, my mom’s overall health, and the treatments she has already undergone. Unfortunately, this new phase of treatment is extremely expensive, and we are struggling to manage the costs.

Compounding our difficulties, my sister was recently laid off just a few weeks into her new job, and our plant shop is not running as it should. We are in a dire situation, having exhausted many of our resources to treat my mom's cervical cancer.

With heavy hearts, we are reaching out to you once again to request your help. We are initiating a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds for my mom’s kidney treatment.
