Hi! This is a complicated answer lol.

Honestly I tend to use they/them for the most part irl, because in a perfect world I would switch around between he/they, they/them, and she/they depend on what I'm feeling, but that's a lot for most people I know, and they/them never feels bad. Like it's always a safe pronoun for me. So when most people ask, I stick with they/them because irl, getting people to accept that is enough to fight for.

(She and he are also there because I like to play around with gendered terms. So like "brother" "sister" "wife" "handsome" "pretty" etc. I like to mix them up. )

You're welcome to use any pronouns for me, though. The only strong boundary is I just don't like when people strictly use she/her. That one would need to be mixed with others. The reason being, I was AFAB and using strictly she/her feels invalidating.

There are so many fics where regulus runs away after Sirius and goes to the potters to join them and a few when he goes to the rosier's but I'd die for one where he runs to Lily

He chooses to leave not bc he's in danger bc I don't like that hc, but because he wants to change and he knows he can't stay and grow, he doesn't want to put his family in danger but he knows he has to get away in order to be who he wants to be. He's spoken to Lily a lot at slug club and finds her intelligent and kind, he remembers her mentioning the town she lives in and in a state of panic decides 'fuck it' and leaves.

He ends up in her town and wanders around for ages trying to find either her or Severus because it's too late to turn back now. After asking around for ages he finds her and -though shocked and a little sceptical- she lets him in. They spend the entire summer navigating the tricky situation with Petunia, he bonds with her parents, he meets her muggle friends and tries to learn a no it muggle culture even if he's too anxious and snappy to properly try at first. They grown closer and just have fun for the few weeks they're away. He c ok mfr ok ya his own biases, even if it's difficult when petunia is rude to him because of his 'freakish' nature as a wizard. She's only just cut off Severus so they're trying to avoid starting anything when they run into him and after he begins to open up more it's just so happy.

Everyone is shocked when they go back to school and they're super close, and even more so when they realise he left. He wasn't disowned at first, his family try to lure him back and eventually out of love for them he agrees to split his time between 'duty' and his new family, with guidance from Lily, who wants to help him pull the family's name more politically centred to keep everyone safe

I just think that'd be pretty neat!

• their body temperature changes depending on how warm or cool the nearest ocean to them is.

• since skateboarding was invented by surfers, children of poseidon can pick up skateboarding just as easily as surfing.

• some of them can teleport using water, in a similar way with shadow travel.

• if they use a lot of energy, they can cross an entire ocean but they'll probably pass out after.

• the sound of ocean waves are a calming sound to them and the sound helps them sleep at night.

• they all live in a state or country that is exposed to the ocean.

• they all have wavy hair. the hair type varies from child to child.

• they are all flat-footed because it aids them greatly in swimming.

cabin traditions

• dunking their heads in the toilet has become their acceptance ritual. the campers basically do it to honour/laugh at percy, but instead of an actual toilet, they just dunk them in a basin of water.

• they have a wall where every kid of poseidon has scratched their name, beginning with percy, so that when there is another occasion in which there is only one camper, they don't have to feel alone.

• before world war ii, they had an initiation where they would send their new siblings into the ocean. they had to retrieve a seashell from as far beneath the ocean as possible. they have a wall in their cabin dedicated to these shells.

a lot of people tended to say that sirius and regulus looked alike, but the marauders and their friends never quite believed it. they looked much to different with one brother being so expressive with his facial features and the other wearing a mask that never slips.

it wasn’t until one day when barty had managed to convince regulus to pull a cute little joke on evan which then led to evan chasing them down the halls of hogwarts with nothing but murder on his mind. while running they managed to run into the posse of gryffindors as well as dorcas who was with them, and while passing, the group (bar dorcas) had to do a double take because the boy that had just passed them with a mischievous smile plastered on his face looked just like sirius.
