Denmark and Prussia

I want there to be more head cannons between Denmark and Prussia, but more of how their friendship came around. Most people seem to have some sort of head cannon surrounding the Seven Years War, or Prussia’s and Austri’a relationship, but there is less of this between Denmark and Prussia, despite having a similar conflict! 

The Schleswig-Holstein conflict was between the Kingdom of Prussia and Denmark over the southern part of modern Denmark(I think, my map skills ain’t the best). They even had war over the territory, so what if their relationship is influenced by that?

I don’t think they’d have the frenemies (kind way to phrase it) relationship between Prussia and Austria, but I feel like they would have a more aggressive-like relationship. Since they're part of the awesome trio together, I feel like they would constantly try to one up each other, to prove either one could have won the war, or taken the territory. 

Just friendly, stupid competitions. Drinking too much, random parkour, lifting, hitting things. You know, the works.

I've been looking at a lot of face family fanart lately, as well as some Tomato Gang fanart. I did notice that, for the second one, there wasn't as much fanart of in the Western fandom (but there's a ton in the Japanese fandom).

That made me wonder, which Hetalia Family/Group is the favorite of the Western fandom?

Yandere Nordics x Angel reader

To say that the nordics would be devastated would be an understatement.

Mathias and Tino would cry and scream, breaking everything around them in a fit of rage. It would be troubling for someone to see, Tino especially, in this state from how joyful and sweet the two usually are. It’s best to stay clear of the two whenever they first find out their s/o has left.

Berwald would be trying his damn hardest to keep it together, his stern glare looked as if It could freeze over hell. Though, from the small cracks on the coffee mug he’s been holding for the past minute shows he’s about to break.

This would be the only time you would see Emil not complaining about his older brothers comfort at this time. Though Lukas would be showing a strange expression on his face as he holds his younger brother close, comforting him with soft words to not let him worry further.

Out of the five Lukas would have sensed that you weren’t completely human and thus having to look through all of his many mythical books would further his obsession with you. Figuring out that you were an angel would have him immediately trying to see if he could remove your powers or status quickly, knowing that any day you could leave them.

With the help of the other four nordics, it would only be a matter of time before he would have all the ingredients needed in order to perform the ritual in bringing you back to earth

~Nordics nightly routine~

Norway-

Norway had the most complex nightly skincare routine and you can't convince me otherwise. the kind were he has to start it an hour before he goes to sleep since it takes so long. but my god does it pay off, guys face looks like it's been crafted by the gods-. And he always makes sure to check in to a very annoyed Iceland before he goes to sleep each night.

Denmark-

Denmark doesnt have a skin care routine per-say but he does have a slightly complex way he does his hair before he sleeps. And you know he's out here buying this expensive shampoo and conditioner just for his hair, I mean, how else is he going to get it that good in the mourning? probably has his hair in a towel as he sleeps, "so it doesn't get damaged!". The only time he doesnt do this is when he passes out from drinking to much at the bar-

Sweden-

Sweden has somewhat of a routine before he goes to sleep but it mostly includes him doing chores around the nordics house (mostly just having to DRAG Denmark to his bed since the decided to pass out right in the middle of the hallway, AGAIN). But he mostly has to clean the saw dust that he tracks into the house from his latest project in the garage. My man doesn't get enough credit for keeping this house together.

Iceland-

Iceland isn't the type of person to have a consistent routine in anything, nor a healthy sleep schedule. though he is trying to get with the trends, with all these skin care stuff. Give him a chance he's trying. Norway did find some of his skin care bottles and tried to help him but Iceland denied ever having one, but from the way his face turned red you could tell he was lying. After that Norway started nonchalantly leaving small ads for skincare items in his room, Iceland always gets annoyed with his brother for it but will never say that he keeps the papers in a drawer.

Finland-

Now Finland is the only one that can hold a consistent healthy sleep schedule out of all the nordic 5. His nights usually consist of walking hana down the street and totally not slipping on the smallest ice patch known to man, along with checking to see if there were any ice hockey matches playing. And he typically likes to end his day with a well deserved vodka.

This is one of the first times of me drawing a background that’s why it’s so flat and- (i’ll get better i hope!)

It’s easy to look and see humans, but they are not.

Most of them try to forget it.

Some of them revel in it.

The rest of them like to pretend the Nordics are like them. Human. Or as close as their kind can get.

Most of the time it’s easy.

But sometimes...

Sometimes you can’t pretend.

Can’t pretend, because Finland speaks with the freezing northern winds as his voice and he’s a winter storm and a summer hail and thick clouds that cover the sky and block out the sun. His attacks are lighting and his heart beats with the rumble of thunder and he perseveres perseveres perseveres, always gets back up, always comes back, and you never see him coming until it’s too late. He dances under the midnight sun and laughs during polar nights and smirks as the rest of the world falls to the biting cold while he stands strong and unbothered.

And Norway, who’s as deep and mysterious as the northern forests, the Scandes, the fjords. He’s crisscrossing leylines and great waterfalls and vast archipelagos. His joints creak like the wood of ancient evergreens as they grow, his innards stained black by stake burnings and dark plagues, his eyes a mirror of the northern lights. He sings with the voice of the stars, the moon, the aurora, and he’ll ensnare you as easily as he weaves his magic and bends the land to his will.

Iceland consciously hides it from the rest of the world, but in the company of a select few they drop their disguise and breathes a sigh of relief. They’re a duality, scorching volcanoes and freezing arctic, hot and cold, fire and ice. Their eyes burn with flames, lava in their veins, bones of obsidian. Their organs are made of ice, their skin like snow and frost lines their throat and lungs. They breathe smoke and frost, cry ice and lava and their hair is snow and ash.

Most of the time Sweden is normal, but sometimes you tilt your head and he’s scintillating water and the creak of oars and fine metal- and woodwork. His bones are iron, like what they mine and mine and mine in Malmberget, and his heart is a patchwork of water and splotches of land connected by bridges, the city of islands, and if you listen very closely as he speaks you can hear the creaking and clinking of the ice and stone in his lungs and throat which at best muddles his words and at worst keeps them deep in his chest.

Even Denmark, the most normal, is sometimes not a man, but a raging bonfire and burning villages. Glinting gold and shining blades and delicate sculptures of glass. His laugh is the crowing of ravens feeding on the flesh of the fallen, his hair tinged red with the blood of his enemies and his eyes are deep blue blue blue, the same shade as the ocean he once tamed and conquered and ruled.

They speak in riddles only they know, whisper of time and places no one else remember, and laugh as the other nations draw back in wariness and fear.

If they wished to play being normal, let them. But where’s the fun in that?
