As a part time user of crutches (specifically smartcrutches, hence the below image), I've found a couple small products have been able to improve the quality of my experience when using them out n about n decided i might as well make a post with them on :) i might add more as i try out other things in the future and such also

The first thing is a small storage bag to attach to your crutch, you can get ones made specifically for crutches, and smart crutch even has their own branded one for the sizing of their crutches, but I got a bag intended for use on bicycles and found that it fit quite well for a fraction of the price, and likely would also do so on normal forearm crutches. I can't put too much stuff in the bag for regular usage as it would throw off my balance but it's great to have my phone and some change in to be within easy reach.

The second thing is new ferrules, specifically I got flexyfeet's ferrules which are available in a variety of sizes to fit pretty much any crutch or cane, they have shock absorption and their flexibility also means I get a lot more grip and feel safer walking with them than I did with my previously very worn down standard ferrules.

Hey guys!  This time we are taking a look inside our NYCC 2014 swag bag. We had some cool items on the show floor for people who stopped by our booth, and we thought we would take a look inside. Later we will be giving away a few of these bags so please check back on how to get your hands on one.

バック沼をはい上がる…？（Camera Bag）

写真撮影を趣味にする方なら私に限らず皆さんカメラやレンズの撮影機材はもちろん、カメラバックにもこだわりがあるのではないかと思います。

機材構成に合わせた収納性や大きさや持ちやすさ、好みのデザインなど。ブランドとのコラボ製品なんかもあったりして目移りしてしまいます...

それでもそんな自分の『お気に入り』を探すのは、結構楽しかったりしますよね。

プロの写真家の方のレビュー記事でも、最近はカメラやレンズだけでなく、カメラバックのレビューを見かけることが多くなった気がします。

しかしこだわりが強すぎ、お気に入りの基準が高すぎると『沼』にハマってしまうわけですが...私の場合は『バック沼』にどっぷりハマってしまいました💦

今まで購入したカメラバックはリュック、スリング、ショルダーバックと様々で、おそらく12個以上はあると思います...試したブランドは VANGUARD PEAK DESIGN HAKUBA Lowpro National Geographic PGYTECH などなど...

今一つしっくりこない、と感じるとメルカリなどのフリマサイトで綺麗なうちに売却するのですが、一つ一つが、新品購入時に結構いい値段がしますので無駄遣いもいいところですね💸特に旅行での観光スポット巡りや、普段の散歩的撮影に使うバックはかなり買い替えており『沼』にハマりっぱなしな状態です。

撮影以外に目もくれず、がっつり撮るぞ！というときは、プロではないのでエベレストにでも登るのか？というくらいに機材満載というわけではなく PEAK DESIGN のバックパックで十分事足りており、活躍してくれています。

そんなことを繰り返しているうちに先日量販店で目に留まったのが、WANDRD のスリングバックでした。

ROGUE Sling というモデルですが、容量は３L、６L、９Lと３種類。色も８種類展開とかなりバラエティに富んでいます。ちょっと試しに機材を入れさせてもらって背負ってみて...

９Lを即買い(衝動買い？)しました！私がこの色を選んだのは...一番安かったから！です💦

このROGUE Slingですが、私が見た量販店、その他の店、通販サイトで調べてみると、どの店でも全く同じバックなのに、色で価格差が最大6,000円ほどとかなり開きがあるのに驚きました😨

限定色とかリミテッドエディション的な扱いなら理解できるのですが、どうもそうではないらしい...私が購入したのは不人気色ということなのでしょうか😔 まぁ嫌いな色ではないので良しとして。

私が旅行滞在先や散歩的なカメラバックに求めるのは...

できるだけコンパクトな外観で『カメラです！がっつり撮ってます！』感が少ないこと。

フルサイズ1台＋大口径レンズ2本(またはサブ機１とレンズ１)+iPad+その他サプライが入ること。

機材の取り出しがスムーズであること。

肩痛くなるのはいやだ...

以上の条件なのですが、今まで使っていたバックがしっくりこなかったのは、どうもサイズ感が今一つだったり、ちょうどいいサイズはデザインが今一つだったり、持つと肩が痛くなったりと、どうしてもなにか一つ欠けてしまう感じがしていました。

カメラバック選びで重要なのは①機材構成に合わせた容量 ②持ちやすさ ③機材へのアクセスしやすさ だと思っているのですが、容量に余裕を持たせると、いかにも『カメラバックです！一眼です！撮ってます！』的な主張が強かったり、かといってギリギリサイズだと結構キツキツでレンズペンや予備バッテリーなど入れると、バックを閉めたときに中の機材が圧迫されてる感じがあったりしてました。

私が普段よく持ち歩く機材構成で入れてみるとこんな感じです。

標準ズーム付きのZ6Ⅲ、望遠系DXレンズ付きのZ30、105㎜マクロレンズ。他に iPad mini6、レンズペンなどのクリーニングキット、予備バッテリー、ケーブル類、身の回り品 が入ってジャストなサイズ。機材スペースもキツキツ感はありません。

持った感じは9Lの割にそれほど大きくも感じず、斜め掛けでもショルダーがけでも持ちやすい。手持ち感も良く、機材へのアクセスも悪くない。肩と背面にパッドが入っていて肩ベルトは太くはないですがしっかりしていて肩が痛くなることも無い。

今まで私が求めていた条件を一番クリアしてくれているバックに巡り合うことができました💯

これでやっと沼から這い上がることができそうだと思うのですが...機材が少ない時用に、６Lも色違いで買っちゃおうかな？と思案中です💦
