Fell in love with Al-Qadim setting wile I was dm-ing one-shots for my friends, so when we all decided to play again Curse of Strahd - I coldn’t resist urge to make character from Zakhara She call herself Isra, but in reality they are another person, Rana, who kinda possesed this dead body of their master, beloved and friend. It’s all complicated. But Rana still in this picture in person too - look at this weapon in hand and say hi :^)

DnD today. Running a party of four through Curse of Strahd. Last session: they entered the Amber Temple and faced off against the encounter in the big room. I always feel as if I'm going easy on them, but I did my best to be ruthless. Yet these are seasoned veterans; they still pulled through. Now after that grueling fight, they have to decide if they want to continue exploring. They're technically a level below the minimum for exploring this dungeon, but I feel like they can handle the rest.
I just hope they remember about the Flaming Skulls :'\

I'm in a Curse of Strahd campaign, custom system, my character is this sentient mannequin filled with flesh who's currently going through an identity crisis, and we just finished the 3rd session, we make it to Barovia, and we started to bury Ismark and Ireena's dad, and Strahd shows up and helps us bury said dad, and as Strahd starts to leave, I do the stupid thing of hiding on the back of his carriage.
Nat 20 stealth check and now I'm separated from the rest of the party trapped in the castle and I am level 2.
I asked the DM what level we're supposed to get into the castle and he says level 10 and GOOD LORD I AM FUCKED.
Anyways here's Ireena with a keyblade because one of the party members said she should be holding a keyblade
DRABBLE CHALLENGE 2024: DAY 3 / UNHEALTHY Stella Wachter eats a rat.
Stella could no longer take it.
The rat squirmed against her fingers as she pinned it to the floor. Dirt and debris shed off its fur, no doubt from the attic above her room where it was so loudly skittering around. It was curious, Stella was sure, for her mother had taken great pains to isolate her room in particular from the outside world--part safety, part shame, part real desperation for her condition--and it must have noticed the oddness of it all. Strange meows from a room within the house of the oh-powerful Fiona Wachter that appeared to have no door or windows to the outside? Of course it would take notice. Of course the Devil would care.
Normally, Stella could steer herself away from these sort of harmful distractions, but the skittering. The squeaking. The cat in her body remained awake at night, tip-toeing on the corner of her bed where it could reach the ceiling and claw at the boards with its blunted, human fingernails. Exhaustion seeped into the sanctuary of her broken mind.
The best Stella could do was stop her body from eating it--her disgust was enough for at least that--but the hunt that preceded it? Her mouth closing around its dusty, fuzzy body? The crunch of grit between her teeth and snap of bones in her ears? The hot blood on her tongue and the alien silence that followed?
There was a dull thud as Stella forced her jaws open and the now dead rat tumbled out. She could pray to whatever gods still listened that her mother would not notice, but the irony of her condition was that her mother always seemed to notice the things she wanted to hide away the most.
In the dark, Stella could see its broken silhouette. Part of her was grateful her mind could retreat to a place where the senses posed no threat.
I’m so sorry mother.

Hey....do you like DnD?
Hi there, I'm Bee. Recently I had a friend tell me she wanted to play some good ol' Dungeons and Dragons. I agreed to run a game for her. Then I realized, I need more players. That is where you come in, hopefully.
The game I plan to run will be 21+, LGBTQIA+ friendly, POC friendly, neurodivergent friend, and beginner friendly modified Curse of Strahd campaign. We will be using Discord and Roll20 to play. I should also mention I would like to record the session strictly to make taking notes a little easier. If you are uncomfortable with this, we can discuss that. Though the only people who would be hearing these recordings are myself and the players should you want them.
What I'm Looking For:
Four players the age of 21 and older.
Availability on Saturdays 9 or 10pm EST. (Start date TBD)
Communication is key! Both in and out of game.
Things To Keep In Mind:
• CoS is a game with a serious tone. It can get dark. Even though this is modified.
• There will be combat, though this will be a heavy-RP campaign.
