A Hiccup and Toothless edit/animatic with the song Weathervane by Hunter Metts?? Hello????
Absolutely fantastic
But I’m not skilled enough to make either so I have to SUFFER
If somebody ends up making one please please let me know :D
Camicazi and Stormfly, Hiccup and Toothless, and Fishlegs and Horrorcow! Finally finished tweaking the designs and made the dragons!!
He looks like the guy from that detentioneer show on ABCme
This is what happens the first time a fan girl goes to Comic Con (New Orleans). This is almost $300. My only regret is not having more money.

So remember that thing I reblogged? Yeah technically, it's not a fic-

100% inspired by Mahogany_Rust's Forever Is My Tomorrow on ao3 by the way, it's great I really recommend it.
FANART OF DEFENDER OF BERK RAGHHHH
Absolutely devastated that nothing happened with this awesome plot point ;^;
This crashed procreate 7 times but I finished it lol <3
he brought his cane back and his itty bitty Toothless
Golden Armor ^^ Had soooo much fun revisiting HTTYD and making this new piece! My last HTTYD panting must be years old by now! I was actually thinking of doing the same concept with Astrid and Stormfly - Let me know if you would like to see that! :)
I love book Toothless. He’s so unhinged 😭
David Tennant’s delivery of the line “you can’t eat the cat, I like him!” was PERFECT
I’ve read like… 1 and a half of the HTTYD books and HOLY MOONS I LOVE THESE TWO
Flight practice is going great, what are you talking about?
Look at he! So whimsical! (I got rid of the guy behind Dagur because he was throwing off his groove)
I would rather choose To love and lose - Than to never have loved you.

I wrote this a long time ago, but I went to see How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World today, and this suddenly seemed very appropriate.
Love - real love, the kind that lights your chest up and rushes in your throat and is selfless - is always worth it. We lose everything in the end. Some things we lose sooner than others, and some losses are more painful than others. But the choice to love is always worth it, even when it hurts.
I just want to know the opinion of book readers on how book Hiccup would react to meeting movie toothless.
Like imagine post httyd 2 Toothless drops through a portal that sends him to the bookverse, where he tracks Hiccup and instead of finding his Hiccup he finds book Hiccup (you guys are free to chose which book Hiccup is on) which confuses him because the person in front of him is clearly Hiccup but not at the same time.
What I want to know is how Book Hiccup would react to this dragon he has never seen before approaching him? Would he figure out how Toothless' saddle works? Would he be shocked by Toothless' many abilities? How would he react to Toothless' personality and protective yet teasing nature?
I ask this because i've been told there's no night fury equivalent in the books, and Hiccup regardless of the medium would love to catalogue a brand new dragon species.
Bonus points if book Toothless and movie Toothless meet.
As the title says movie and book Hiccup in a death match, each with all their available resources. Meaning movie Hiccup get things like his flaming sword and flight suit, while book Hiccup gets both dragons plus any weapons.
They have no knowledge of each other besides the fact the other is a dragon rider. They are both fighting to protect what they love. They start 100m away from each other.
A dragon fight followed by a physical fight.
¿Who would get thrown off their dragon first? ¿Who would win the fight on the ground?
Bonus rounds
Movie Stoick vs Book Stoick with and without dragons.
Movie Riders vs Book Riders (Hiccup's friend group)
On the first episode of rtte while rewatching everything in the franchise and I'm just wondering... What if Hiccup left by himself? What if the others never came with him? What if they never went to the edge as a group? What if they never found the dragon eye? What if Hiccup left Berk anyways to find himself or something?
I like to imagine Hiccup wouldn't actually ever settle down on an island like the edge. He'd travel a whole bunch, learn from different islands and cultures in and out of the archipelago, seeing and learning about new dragons every single day.
I think he'd be way more reckless than he already was but I also think he would have gained a very different set knowledge and experiences than he did with the group. On the other hand, I believe he wouldn't know Berk anymore, the island and its people may start to feel too small for him. And also he just wouldn't know the place anymore in a way since he wouldn't watch it evolve.
I'd love to see other people's takes on him branching out on his own without the group and like unlocking his full potential in a way.
