I explored a bunch of areas in me and my little sisters childhood minecraft world and decided to take pictures. We used all of our animals to tell stories hehe.

Baby chickens and foxes from the nether??? It was all very silly.

Thinking about the lore of angels in Para Sanar. What do you mean a God can ascend someone they feel is close to them and make it to where they are to spend the rest of eternity working for and worshiping this deity? Like, even after the angel dies. They're always reborn and remember their job after either meeting their god again or meeting another angel.

It's very sweet when you look at it through the family lens. Angels are some of the closest things the Gods have to family. This one person is destined to stay by your side, forever, no matter what. You're literally bound together as the God gives a part of themself away.

But then there's also the sad way of looking at it. Sometimes angels don't realize what they are being given or that they even have been made an angel. It's a huge rule for Gods that they have to make sure 100% that the person they're ascending understands and wants to become an angel. Otherwise, you've just trapped someone in an endless cycle of following after you until either the world ends or the God dies. Even then, if a God dies, it's like a part of the angel did, too. Being away from their God prompts intense waves of grief and longing. It never ends. That has to be exhausting.

I am making my own minecraft movie

ok so i'm not actually making a movie. what i am doing is analysing minecraft and thinking about why i didn't like The minecraft movie, and what i was actually wanting out of a minecraft movie. and then like. writing an overview or something. a lot of my thoughts heavily reference the End Poem, and some things i've seen echoed around the community in the past decade or so in terms of minecraft lore.

if you have any thoughts please tell me. please please please. i wrote i think a whole essay on the worldbuilding and storytelling of minecraft in college i am rather passionate about it.

things i am thinking about so far:

-having the movie progression loosely follow the progression of updates 1.0-current. not Every feature has to be included, but just like, no seeing like, cornflowers in the beginning of the movie. i wanna start in that barren 1.0 wasteland of an overworld baybe.

-according to the update timeline as of 2025, we'd meet alex about midway through the movie. unsure of my thoughts on this, but it follows previous logic.

-we only see ONE pink sheep the whole movie. are those fuckers rare or what?

-no new characters that aren't in the game.

-the entire soundtrack is by C418 and Lena Raine. Definitely including some in game songs, but some new ones thrown in as well.

-the player is the freak, not the villagers. i personally am not a fan of the "there was a nuclear disaster that fucked up minecraft, and made the mobs and the villagers Like That." i've seen throughout minecraft fan theories over the years. I think that's too specific, too un-minecraft-y, and also. not a fan of the insinuations with the villagers. minecraft has no lore. at best it has soft worldbuilding- think studio ghibli. we don't really know why things are precisely the way they are, we just know they are, and we know a few rules. we know minecraft started out barren, and as the updates came and went (to be interpreted as either time passing, the player exploring further, or both), more and more life was seen in the world, more things were discovered, more things were fought, made, destroyed, learned. according to the End Poem, minecraft is a dream that the player enters. one could interpret that as us being an outsider- it would explain why no one else looks like us, plays like us. we are alone. minecraft is a lonely place. you see it when you compare yourself to the villagers, you hear it in the soundtrack. you are alone.

-get julian gough back to write a second short poem for the end of the movie, but this time pay him one billion dollars. by the end of the game, we'd achieved a high enough level to read the universe's thoughts, i think this time after the movie, and also after furthering ourselves in the long dream of life, we should have levelled up enough to hear the universe's thoughts ("Sometimes, through the noise of its thoughts, it hears the universe, yes." | this having audio also makes it more fitting for a movie).

I don't. actually know what the plot would be. obviously it needs to be minecraft-y, but it can't simply be the base game progression, can it? would that be too simple? i wouldn't want to rely entirely on nostalgia, it has to be an enjoyable movie regardless of it's association to minecraft.

So~, for my Minecraft world-building project, I've been making a timeline of sorts. The Legends Era and Dungeons Era are what I got so far, I plan on using Minecraft StoryMode also as an Era, but the names I'm coming up with just aren't it. StoryMode Era, Story Era, or the Order of the Stone Era (don't mind). If anyone feels like helping out, do tell.

Types of Avian

There are three types of avian

Lesser Avian - Don't have wings - Sometimes have feathers or bird legs, but not necessary - Can either have bird tails, or long tails with feathers on them, or no tail at all Common Avian - Always have wings, wings are often small, but can grow with age - Always have some sort of feathering and tail Greater Avian - Large wings, feathers, and tail - Can be born as Common, but grow into Greater with age - Can speak in Chirp (bird language) Examples in dsmp and qsmp

Hi! I absolutely adore your ender!Dream au @fluffguff25! So I decided to draw Em!

My friends and I had the headcanon that enderman had a bit of a insect like anatomy, hence the chirping and cooing, and the habit of showing up in the randomest of places!

Se also had an entire scientific argument over how enderman teleported which ended with the notion of enderman having spines running down their bodies that lit up and somehow *produced* the ability to teleport! Of course instead of the regular purple-Dream has green! It was also said that enderman had Scarab beetle like horns-but I honestly don’t remember why or exactly how that came into the conversation.

Strider Saddles

In the initial art I did, I was a bit lazy with the saddle drawing, but I’ve made this to clarify some things!

Here’s a strider without a saddle, a strider with only a saddle blanket, a strider with a blanket and a saddle, and a strider with reins.

There’s lots of room for different colours and patterns on the blanket, including tassels like the one in the picture! There’s now a saddle horn and reins to hold onto (although I’m not sure how feasible they are), as well as stirrups.

Keep in mind, I’m basing this off of my prior knowledge + some cursory research. I’ve never ridden a horse or any other animal 😅

This is important for my next Nether lore/food post :)

SoulboundDuo. | SoulboundDuo is a Duo name between the variants Juno Rosen and Epsilon, they are inspired by ARG!Sunshipduo and follow the same concept finding each other in every universe / Killing each other in every universe. | 2. HoneyfangDuo. | The name is inspired by Sunshipduo. However, this is my duo and ship name with me and my Partner. | | 3. Sunset Trio. | Sunset Trio is the Trio name between me and two of my friends on a MC SMP but can apply to our other character's and or Variants. | 4. Godly Trio. | Similar to SoulboundDuo except it involves three people. Any Juno and Eps variants and 1 soul whose spirit is split across the multiverse, Mystery. One day, a convergence between TimelessSMP and ReverenceSMP (My 3rd SMP) had occurred and Mystery was caught in the middle of it, his spirit fell through the floor which in turn split his soul. and so now, any SMP he is part of, his soul becomes split and it takes a toll on his original body which is in a coma. The gods of Timeless are keeping him alive but decided to ease the pain by forming him a new body with a new personality so it has no affect on the timeline. He would be known as Avow and also be known as a spider hybrid. 【✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✦✦ 】 I think that's it. the nether is terrifying because it is hell and monsters live there who want to hurt you. however, it gets even more terrifying when you think about Intentional Game Design. a world where you'll die if you try to sleep. you could get stuck there, growing wearier and wearier, until your eyes start to blur with the waves of heat rising from the earth. when you cave in and lay your head to rest the ground will explode. the souls trapped in the dirt will scream with you. you will never be heard. this world will rip you apart for the crime of being human. you cannot win. you cannot rest now. there are always monsters nearby.
