Something that's severely undertalked about it the loneliness and lack of real friends that come with being disabled, both mentally and physically. I especially don't see physically mentioned a lot.
But how tf am I supposed to have close friends when I'm constantly sleep deprived? If my general physical strength and endurance are severely limited?
So far this week I’ve had an hour and 20 minute phone conversation with one of my friends and an almost 40 minute in person conversation with another. The last one made me like an hour late getting home from school today. I mean, sure, they were decent conversations about dumb stuff, as one does. But if this is what having a social life is like, I want no part in it.
