Something To Think About - Blog Posts

headcanon: matt's favorite movie before he lost his sight was top gun, and he was so obsessed with it that he wanted to be a pilot. but of course it changed and especially after his father's death that he wanted to be a lawyer. present day, now hanging out with foggy, karen, and you, the live musician played great balls of fire and you've never seen him this happy jamming to his childhood jam

AND I MEAN LIKE IMAGINE HIS EARS PERKED UP WHEN HE HEARD THE FIRST PIANO NOTES AND HE IMMEDIATELY JUMPED BEING SO EXCITED AND joined the singer to sing and dances with his whole heart and you're just sitting there amazed with a big smile on your face thinking this is the man you love and then he asks you to join dance with him and you said yes and soon the whole bar dances to the song and it just became the best day ever oh my god

my number one biggest weakness when it comes to breaking bad content is anything to do with jesse and marie and those fleeting glimpses we saw of them together towards the end of the show. it was so small, but it said so fucking much. hank obviously only ever saw jesse as a tool, a disposable resource to get him closer to walt, but marie didn’t. she saw this scruffy, angry kid sleeping in her nice guest room and telling her husband about the horrible things he’d done and seen for the confession tape and her instinct wasn’t to withdraw or to treat him as lesser than like her husband did. it was to make him a cup of coffee. treat him like a human. marie’s an addict herself, something that i think gets forgotten a lot, and in this mad scramble around her to bring down walt and use jesse’s life as a bargaining chip, she sat down with him and treated him with a little decency because she knows what it’s like to be shunned and othered and cast aside. to be a “problem”. to have no control. walt, skyler, and hank all had longer, more in-depth interactions with jesse, but marie’s time with him, however brief, was so fucking meaningful. the world is so cruel sometimes. let’s eat together and share a little moment of humanity.

i've always wished that this show explored more of house in his pre-house md era because of scenes like these. on one hand, we get crumbs of how house was like from stacey's perspective...

... whereas on the other side of the spectrum, we get this from wilson:

Okay, darlings. This fandom has managed to drive an author from it and they went out with a nuke. All of their work, gone. So it's time to have a talk. I'd love to think none of you were involved in it, so hopefully this is more a reminder to reblog than to have to apply, but it's time to have a talk.

First off, I'm not going to name the author. Their story is theirs. I'm just going to talk generally.

You DO NOT tell an author to kill themselves (kys) or threaten to harm them or that you'll find them or that they're writing their story wrong. YOU JUST DON'T.

"Well that's how I joke with my friends--" Stop. Authors are not your friends. They are at best acquaintances and more likely strangers. They might be friendly with you. I'm friendly with many of you because I see you often in comments/replies and such. And some of you have become friends. But the average author is not your friend, they are a stranger. And if you're the type of person who would tell a stranger to kill themselves, you need professional help in dealing with something deep inside you and I hope you find it.

Authors are out here writing entertainment and sharing it for free. You respect that and be kind. If you can't be kind, you leave. The back button is right there.

This is not an airport, you do not need to announce your departure. If a fic goes a way that you do not like, you unsubscribe and hit that back button. If it turns too angsty or sappy or violent, back button. If their characterization bothers you, back button. You do not need to tell as stranger providing free effort that you hate what they are producing. This fandom is so damn prolific, there's something out there for you, it doesn't have to be that fic.

Please just be kind. The world is horrible enough right now. And if you can't be kind, back button.

Blind forgiveness is the answer here. It may sound horrible, but trust me who ever is reading this, I have a perfectly good reason.(tag or contact me in any ways me if you want to know my reasons)

Bill Cipher has done bad things, but is not a bad being! Pass it on!
